Mountain View Retreat

Our central location means you can take a drive to either the east or west coast attractions. We are within an hour of Opononi , Bay or Islands and Kaitaia so you can return to enjoy the hospitality of your hosts Pam and George and a home cooked meal and relaxing evening.

Situated 15 minutes north of the hokianga car ferry on the twin coast tourist route, our peaceful home is surrounded by 212 acres of farm and native bush.

The guest wing has three double bedrooms and a guests bathroom and two guest toilets, also a separate t.v. lounge is available. Bedrooms are 1 double, 1 queen and 1 super king. All bedrooms have beautiful rural views.

Feel free to take a bush walk on marked tracks to the top of Mt Maungapohatu on our property or relax by the pool. Kayaks are available for a leisurely paddle with the flow down the river to the Hokianga Harbout where you can be picked up.
